Mend Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 Remote Central Locking

how can i fix remote/key zafaira 1.6?

i have not been able to use my key remote to unlock my car when i got it i was told it needed a new battery i have tried that but no luck the red light comes on,on the key if i use the key in the lock the central locking works ok , some one has said it might need a code i also think this will not be actiave the alarm

try folding a small peice of cardboard and placing it on top of the battery then put the key back together carefully it worked for me and i done the spare key good luck
