lets see if i can help, thanks bb, first all the 2 strokes only have one main fuse by the battery, if this is blown nothing will work should always be a 5amp , but dont go bigger than 7.5, charge you battery if your voltage is that low, can cause cdi to not operate correctly, any sounds coming from the electric start, when you try it, as explained already by bb and adam, no matter what the circumstance the bike will still start off the kick, if it doesnt then the most critical thing to check is fuel/spark check for the spark as the lads have told you use br7hs for 50cc, and bpr8es for the 1oo. to check for fuel just pull off the fuel feed in to the carb and crank your bike over, no fuel +faulty fuel tap, if we have no spark its the cdi more than likely! does this model have the immobilizer on it, if so if its faulty it should self diagnose and flash in a certain sequence with the ignition on, if so let me know whatever this is! if you have a cdi or immobilizer fault let me know, i have the parts available! if you manage to get it going and you still have the faulty fuel guage this really is down to 1 of 2 faults normally, either a break in the printed circuit board on the back of the clocks or more commonly the float in the tank, to ckeck this, simply remove you seat bucket and the float sits there on the top, take it out and with the ignition on, move it by hand and see if the guage moves, you will know what step to then take, couold just be stuck the contacts for the float are very tiny and fragile and could easily have some contaminant on them, if you need clocks or float no probs get in touch!!! hope all this helps, i could explain in detail a lot more of this but my fingers are throbbin a bit now lol
