optima xm6 malfunction?

my xm6 stopped working after a power cut some time ago. had fiddle today it is showing red for power attack and tamper when i disconnect power and battery lead alarm sounds and when i reconnect battery and enter code it stops but then goes back to position describe above will not set or display green day light. Attack button by front door was removed some time ago but after the alarm malfunctioned. Any ideas apart from ring engineer ?? chers
