how do i remove my service light on dashboard after a service i have transit 260 swb 2000

Ford Ford Transit 260 SWB Vehicles, Vans Ford Transit Removal

Turn ignition to position 2. Press brake and accelerator down together for 15 seconds service will flash when complete turn ignition off.Do not short out any wires as you may damage your ecu.

thanks for your reply unfortunetly this did not work i was told by a mechanic that i had to get some wire and attach to certain part of engine and short it out can anybody else help me thanks

Hold brake and throttle pedal down at the same time,switch on ignition and keep holding pedals down for about 10 seconds,spanner light should start flashing,switch off ignition,foot off pedals and that should be the light reset,good luck.
