Mend Dyson DC04 Help Making Noise Horrible

help please, hoover making noise when use brushes down dc04 dyson?

Hi there, when i put the brushes down to use on my dyson, it makes a horrible noise like it would do when i've caught some material in it. but it doesn't make any noise when i put the brushes up or off. Can anyone help me please. Thank you.
