DM Tech Remote Control?

I have a DMTech LM17DB TV and the remote has stopped working, It was working fine and has not been dropped or damaged in any way. I have changed the batteries for new one and it makes no difference. Can anyone help?.
Does it need recoding? if it does where can i get the codes from because i cant find my instruction booklet. Hope someone can help
