Why wont my washing machine wash the clothes? General Electric G-150-0. model #wwa835. During the wash cycles it is supposto wash and agatate but it is only putting the water in and sounding like it is washing them. O-hh the model # may be missing a number or 2 at the end of this. I couldn't read if there were anymore numbers to this model #.
Does the washer spin ok? If you here the motor running and you get know spin or agitation, check the belt. If you are getting spin, but the agitator isn't or barely moving, you'll have to check under the agitator for stripped splines. Hope this helps.
