Mend Aviva 4-burner Gas Turn Flame

how do i control the flow of gas within my Aviva 4-burner?

Once i turn on the gas at the tank, all the burners become active even if they are off at the flame control (i.e. they are set at zero).
It has been out of use for a few years, but it ran very well when i tried it out with an almost empty gas tank a couple of weeks back.I could control individual burners/plates.
