Optima compact intruder alarm - Tamper?

Hi can anyone help, this is driving me nuts. When either in set or day mode the tamper will activate. ie set alarm last night when going to bed and was woken up by the beeping of the tamper alarm. No new work has been done and all pirs are clean (no spiders webs etc) why is it going off and how do I fix it.

It'll be a damaged wire or faulty bellbox.

To temporarily stop it resetting and re-triggering, DON'T press "reset" when you have entered your code to shut it up!

The strobe light (if fitted) will continue to flash, but there will be no more noise.

I suggest getting the system serviced.
