maxin shuts down ?

maxin shuts down after 2 to 3 hours replaced thermistor still shutting down intermittently temperature gauge set at 60 falls to around 45 then fires up again sometimes by pressing red button the 2 radiators in sitting room set at 3 but to touch are extremely hot any ideas
