oil burner smokes on startup?

i need a scamadic for a soundstrand a2va-7116 burner model af-65xn there are two fuel lines i need to know whats the deal with this

push the relay button to many times now when it started smoke comes out .flooded combustion chamber do i let it burn it out

I had a similar problem, and found the burner screen filthy. Cleaning it fixed the problem, but remember to bleed the line thoroughly and be prepared to restart several times before the burner runs smoothly again. If your burner latches up after 3 failures, like mine, the instructions for unlatching are on the botton of the box with the red button. (You have to loosen 2 screws to access it.)

If it has a Sundstrand or Sundtech A2VA 7116 pump remove the 4 cover bolts remove the screen and clean it,if the gasket is not torn I use it over. The gasket is cheap to buy. Good Luck
