Great answer, I broke the kick panel whilst trying to prise it off though (Why dont they make it obvious how to remove it?)....found 3 paper clips, 2 hair clips and about 10-20 matches inside, works lovely now Thanks:-)

guys thx for this same prob hairpin wait until my wife gets home !!!! Just cancelled service engineer so saved a few pounds there does anyone know where you would get a manual for this machine

pull the filter out which is behind the plastic kick plate at the bottom .once filter is out shine a torch in to the filter housing and make sure the drain pump impellor rotates as they have a habit of getting jammed up with fluff etc.
