My boiler is showing the "No Flame Detected" error but in addition the CH pressure gauge shows that the pressure is only about .75.
I have tried adjusting the valves on the filling loop but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I am assuming that the filling loop is the silver pipe under the boiler...?
Anyone have any ideas?
I may be being a bit of an idiot and not using the valves properly on the loop, I suppose...
Thanks a lot.
britony se 80. pressure should be 1.5bar.the loop is under the boiler joining the incoming feed to the central heating these are the 2 last pipes on the right.open valve on this pipe until 1.5 shows.if you have lost pressure you may have a leak.no flame detection means the ionization electrode has not detected a flame.maybe electrode has failed (£40) or pcb has failed (£130+). leak needs sorting to see if 70 80 fault goes.when power is isolated elecrode contacts can be cleaned and pcb checked out.
