Mend Sky Sky+ Problem Time Box

Standby light problem?

For some time now when I put my sky plus box into standby the box turns off but the light stays GREEN
all the time and the cooling fan presumaby runs continuously even through the night. It will only go to
RED by turning off the mains power.As soon as you go into standby again the problem re-occurs. Can anybody come up with a solution please.
