Mend Bathstore Water Year Bath

how can i adjust the water level in 1 year old cistern?

how can i adjust the water intake in my cistern it is a 1 year old bath store toilet.has duel flush we have to flush about 6 times just to remove paper, any thing else we have to put a bucket of water down, there is a water line in cistern but our water level is 5 inches below this.

the sistern is the syphon type does not have a float, thanks for your prompt reply hope you can help.

depends what fill valve you have but useally just adjust the float on the valve so it shuts off higher up.
