2001 Ford Windstar Van Electric Windows won't work?

That's nuts! We have a 2001 Ford Windstar and the exact same thing happened to us. Right now, we installed a new radio and connected it with a wire directly to the battery with its own on and off switch for the meantime, but our windows won't work and our mirrors quit working as well. I've been told by many people it will cost a pretty penny to get the vehicle rewired and for us to pass safety, we apparently have to have working windows. I'm going to keep looking up this sight incase someone else has an answer!

If power source is ok there is proably a ground problem for these items usually when that many items quit they all have something in common .......ground or power
