Mend Einhell PP350 Electric Motor Problem

PP350 chainsaw?

I have a PP350 electric chainsaw.

While the electric motor works, the drive cog does not rotate.

What is likely to be the problem and how do I repair it?

Einhell Einhell PP350 Garden Tools, Chainsaws Electric Motor Problem

The big black paddle in front of the left hand is a brake and these are the symptoms of this engaged.

Pull it back to the handle to release the brake.

Happened to me to. :-)
