how can i attach my new curcuit board to my gas boiler in my kitchen?
How do i know which wires should be soldered into which part on the curcuit board as I was not present when the old curcuit board was taken off the boiler
the boiler is called IDEAL ELAN 2 GAS BOILER and the circuit board i bought to replace the old one is IDEAL 7B P.C.B
which wires go where? and is there a diagram i can follow?
The pilot light on my ideal elan 2 boiler does not come on. I have tried bleeding the radiators etc but does not solve problems. Couldanyone please advise.

no actually if you alter or disconnect a electrical sensor for example o/h stat you are still breaching the gas safety regs.so fitting a pcb that is not the correct pcb and for example the gas came on with out the fan or ignition u would still be breeching the gas regs.this would i assume be riddor reportable and you have to let the hse decide

melanie, most pcb`s come with plug in connectors so that you can`t get the wires mixed up.
Paul, you will only be breaking the gas safety regs if you are actually interupting the gas supply.

i would doubt very much that these boards are inter changeable it would also be a breach of gas safety regs to start making new boiler without suffient testing
