Mend Power Acceleration Car

Loss of power on acceleration?

If i make several short journeys the next time i come to use the car the power drops and have to engage the clutch and wait for the power to come back. This will happen a few times say in a 100yards then its ok. Been to two garages out on diagnostics and nothing, might be sticks valves. Any ideas?
