Mend Potterton 80E PCB Heating Fault

heating needs to be on for hot water ?

replaced the pcb excell 80e in december 09 fault was heating had to be on for hot water ran ok since but just recently same fault as before need advice what to do now

thats again Ian,
just for a matter of interest would this cause the PCB to fault out again with the same fault after running 2 to 3 months.PCB still under warranty they have told me to send it back to be checked out before they replace it under warranty.

won't be the thermistor. may be the dhw microswitch

thanks ian.
i just phoned the gas fitter, he said that the dhw diapragm was replaced at the same time as the pcb fault may now be the thermistor

you need a new dhw diaphragm, whoever fitted the pcb for that fault must've been a joker.
