Hey i have had a ghd for a while now and where the cord pins into the straightener itself is making sparking noises does anyone know how to change the full cord

if you have had them a while they are probably mark 3's
at the end is o rubber o ring and next to that 2 screws undo these lift of the top half of the cover the lead just then slides into the rotating connection clips
buy new cable from ebay for £5
