Spilt Tea on dash?

I spilt tea on my dashboard 2weeks ago, and the hazard lights started flashing instantly. This in turn drained the battery. After recharging the battery the van struggles to start and now has no indicators or hazards. Could someone explain what to do and how easy it would be to fix, as someone mentioned about the ECU being damaged
