my clock only comes on when the lights come on or the radio comes on but the radio doesn't go of when the car is turned off any more so its turned of manually

ther is a fuse on the radio to tack it out and check that one to wil its out check the wires are in proply . . .

If you can use a multimeter or test lamp, then check the prsence of + and - at the connector at the rear of the radio
