trumatic S3002 caravan heater?

I cannot light my caravan fire i have fitted a new battery but still will not light. I have removed the case and found a black wire not connected. it is one of a pair brown and black twisted pair that plug in behind the battery housing. The brown is connected to the chassis as an earth the black looks as if has pulled out of its connecter and i cant find where. any clues to where it connects to. regards John

The wire runs to the gas tap on the rightand side were the brown ang black connect to a switch inside the plastic tap at the end of the pushrod

The Brown and Black wires should be hard wired into the gas valve. This allows the micro switch inside the black plastic housing to turn on the spark ignition unit whilst pressing down to light the fire. If these wires have pulled out.. then the only answer is to buy a new valve as it comes with the wires already fitted for around £50 from a caravan store.

However, if these black and brown are still in there and the loose wire is around the battery ignition.. Then it must have pulled out from the small connected on the back on the battery box.. This can probably be soldered back into there to allow operation again.

Hope this Helps.
