Mend Ariston Refrigerator Appliance Voltage

Ariston Fridge Freezer stopped working?

Hi
My fridge freezer has stopped working. There is no life in it at all, not even a light. I've checked the supply and l'm getting 230v on the terminals. There is some sort of capacitor or starter unit that is wired to the incoming terminals via a white connector but l'm not getting any voltage on this.

What do you think is wrong. Do they have a starter choke like a light fitting?
