Bosh dishwasher drain pump runs in all cycles?

Hot water will not come into dishwasher. Drain pump runs constantly no matter what cycle the timer is in. Problem started with plugged sink. Wife used plunger in the sink and subsequently noticed dirty water leaking around door seal of dishwasher. Opened door and tub full of dirty water. Later when tried to wash dishes, the before mentioned symptoms appeared. Bosh dishwasher model no. SHU66C06 built-in.
