Thanks for the reply.I was told that my rad leaked and water got into the gear box and the anti freeze has contamanated the box.Would it whistle from a leak ? Saying that i havent lost any water from rad.But my washer bottle has lost all the water and there was anti freeze in that

If coolant has got in via heat exchanger it will shed plate friction material and block filter. It doesn't need to be much, so is not always evident as low coolant. To be certain remove sump pan and filter. Open up the filter by working around the edge with pliers, check for debris. Plate material is like cardboard
