how do you remove the motor on my maytag washer?

Hello,

What kind of maytag? What is the model number? If you are talking about a toploading dependable care model, remove the two screws towards the bottom of the front panel then lift the panel up from the bottom it will unhook from the top. This will give you access to the motor and other stuff. Hope this helps.
