Mend Sears Turn Years

I have a sears 8mm silent/sound projector . Reels don't turn?

My projector is about 40 years old and has not been used in years. I want to view old 8mm films, but the film will not thread or the reels turn. The lamp and blower work, and it sounds like the motor is running. Any thoughts on how to get it running? The projector was sold by sears. It is 8mm and shows silent films at 16fps and sound films at 24fps. The sound is on a magnetic stripe on the edge of the film.

Sounds like it just needs new belts, probably available on the internet.
