Hotpoint few12 water is pouring out the bottom of soap tray?

Evening all

I am having problems with the above I have had the ball filter open and cleared what was in there (not much) but now when I put the machine through a cycle water pours from the tray withing 10-20 seconds

Could this be a blockage from where the water comes in to the drum?

when I stop the machine and open the door the water drains away when I spin the drum manually???

Im gonna go back and pull the filter out and double check.

not sure why the water will not go into the drum?
