Oil leak and water loss on '53' focus 1.6?

Hi Guys. The Engine Management light came on, engine stalled and temp gauge reading hot although heaters were only blowing out luke warm air and coolant pipes warm too.
Coolant bottle was nearly empty so topped up which put management light out! Smoke was apparaent around the Auxillary drive belt which has oil on it and has conseqeuntly sprayed the engine bay. As it was dark I have checked the oil level which was fine and not full of gunk and parked it up.
Any ideas will be much appreciated thanks
