How do I replace a prd in an amber 2 (triton) shower?

How do I replace a prd in an amber 2 (triton) shower? I am a reasonably competent DIY'er, but I have no idea how to go about replacing this. I have water pouring out from the overflow (and not the shower head) and think the prd may be the problem. Any advice greatly appreciated
