A SERVICE WASHING MACHINE 1100 SPIN WONT SPIN HELP?

Bit late now, maybe, but my machine stopped spinning on final spin so I sprayed switch cleaner into the control knob, wizzed it round half a dozen times and now it's fine! Suspect the contacts had got a bit carboned. Worth a try, as a cheap and easy fix if it works!

Hi,
First port of call is to check the filter on the machine to make sure that it is clear.

Most washing machines have carbon brushes on the motor. If these are worn the machine will wash the clothes but will not go into spin. Does your machine drain without going into spin?

Brushes are easy to remove and replace. Just have to be careful when putting them in.

Best thing to do first is check the filter.
