my singer is out of time i turned the wheel backward when cleaning what do i do model number 3116

Hello April,
Turning the balance wheel backwards won't make the machine go out of time, machines do go out of time quite often it is a design fault going back years, I can attach instructions if you email me, type my address as you say it not as you see it.
