Mend Concept Security System Repair

Can I fix my concept alarm panel?

My concept alarm panel works for about half an hour when it is set, then goes off and shows up on the panel as an activation in zone 2.

I've tried disconnecting zone 2 and shorting out the zone but this has made no difference, it shows an activation in zone 2 after about half an hour.

Can this be repaired or will I need a new panel ?

Sounds like a new panel is required to me if the fault occurs with the zone shorted out at the panel.
