Berlingo CD player problems?

just fitted an alba cd player in my berlingo van, everything works fine but when you leave the door open and the ignition off, the ignition turns on and an audible bleeping sounds and the cd player turns itself on, if you dont relises it flatterns the battery and it also loses any pre-set stations. any ideas?
