Mend Renault Electrical Fault Start

electrical fault with my megane 1998 1.6 sport coupe?

my car cut out and now it wont start. it turns over but wont fire, since it cut out there is a relay which is ticking under the bonnet,this didn happen befor it cut out as i can hear it from inside the car? would be very greatfull for any suggestions thanks.
