Mend Sony Trinitron Screen

tv screen?

I have a small chip in the screen of my Sony Trinitron television. Is there anything that I can do to fix it? Perhaps a filler or something?

If too deep to polish I would leave alone and contact your insurance company to have the set replaced as you could make it worse and depending on the size of the chip could be unsafe although the face is the strongest part of the tube.
