Mend Electrolux Aqualux 1200 Usual Programme Machine

Electrolux Aqualux 1200?

As usual, I set programme D on our aqualux 1200 washer/dryer today. After we came back we noticed that the machine had filled up but had then stopped. When the dial is rotated to an end of programme indication, the mains light will power up, selecting any Programme letter results in the Power light not showing, any ideas ?

yes, I have this washer dryer - 40 degree cycle, use programme D, this is the one you will use 90 % of the time.
