How to replace cooktop light in Kitchenaid KHMS155L?

After removing cover and discovering the bulbs are 2 prong 10W low voltage halogen bulbs, and removing the bulbs. How do you plug the new bulbs in? Should I be a circus acrobat? or am I missing something?
