hi there. have all fitted and ready to go but major slack in the belt. have you any diagram of correct belt assembly

Brushes worn down, blown diodes, regulator faulty. IMHO the pulley is too big and gives no charge at idle. A friend is having a lot of grief with his even after paying £150 for having a brand new alternator fitted. Just can't get the right staff anymore. Check all earths as charging via the exhaust pipe etc won't be too good.

new battery fitted 6 weeks ago gone flat nothing left on dont use often yellow light car with spanner through it keeps coming on
