msi.dot4wrp error with printer install?

Hi all
I have a problem trying to install a HP all in one printer when I first bought it ,it worked fine for couple of weeks,but then developed a problem -so I have tried to uninstall then reinstall it but that doesn't work it gets to 94% then shows error 2753 error msi.dot4wrp.
now I have read on other forums to go in to the system32/regedit folders and delete from there which i have done-deleting hpq/hpz and hpx files but I am rumming on a hp laptop so dont want to delete wrong files!!
question should I delete all hpq HPq HPQ /hpz HPz etc etc folders ARE THEY ALL PRINTER FILES and not the computer????
