Mend Chevrolet C5 Piston Brake Caliper

piston in brake caliper?

i took off the brake caliper on my 04 c5,forgot that the handbrake was still on and the piston shot out and now wont go back in,any ideas on how to get it back in,thanks

If the piston seal and the dust seal are in good condition inside the calliper you may be lucky, make sure the piston is clean and free from corrosion. Lubricate the piston with brake fluid , open the bleed on the calliper and the piston should ease back in.
