Skoda Service but Service warning still on! Have they serviced my car?

Skoda have serviced my 2007 octavia 2Ltr D.
On starting the car the Service warning light is still on.
Have they serviced my car?

Depends on who did the work. Dealers rarely forget to reset the counter. Get back, ask and have it reset. They should have left a label with the oil type, grade and mileage (door post or directly in engine bay).

check the dipstick for CLEAN OIL,check that a new oil FILTER has been fitted.
service may have been done but the service timer counter not reset, easy over site easy fix does not affect safety of the car,take it back and get them to show how to reset the light
