bought a car in uk had it shipped to cyprus. the car was serviced [not by main dealer].on arrival i noticed service light & airbag light were on all the time. can i remove. The car is a Renault 1.6 2001[Y] megane cabrio. any info would be appreciated. ColinF. [Cyprus]
Hi Colin, the service light is a fault light for the engine ECU, and not an indication that a service is due, you will need to find a garage that can do a diagnostic read-out this will also show the cause of the airbag light
