Mend Peugeot 206 Start

peugeot 206 wont start?

hi, i have a 206 1900 diesel on a w reg (2000)

i bought it as a non runner and put a new engine in it everythin seems fine the engine turns over but will not fire

took a fuel line off an injector and tried turning it over and didnt get any fuel through the pipe so i think thats the prob any1 got any ideas what i have missed??

thanks all for your coments it was the immobilizer, a quick change ove and shes running like a wee sweetheart.

sounds like immobilizer problem. should have put old diesel pump on new engine as this is where immobilizer is. needs to recognize key chip. will prob need to go on diagnostics machine to reprogram to sort it out.

The pump has to be coded to the car with the correct diagnostic kit
