Mend Bristan 1901 Thermostatic Mixer

fixing thermostatic shower starts hot goes cooler ?

bristan exposed therm mixer shower. removed temp control and flow control finally got the thermostatic valve out looked ok a bit scaled up. decided to get replacement valve. I the mean time put everything back in until i got new parts but when i returned all the bits in reverse order i could,nt turn the shower off using the hand controls have had to leave it off at iso's
