Wharfedale DVD recorder lost power?

We have a Wharfedale DVD recorder with a HDD. Recently we were having some plumbing work and something caused the trip switch to go. The recorder was recording to the HDD at the time and now it won't come back on. I've changed the fuse in the plug but to no gain.

Any ideas?
