Mend Hotpoint Ultima Dryer Inside Drum

Water in my dryer???

Ive just got aHotpoint ultima condenser dryer off my parents and there seems to be water inside it where the drum is. when i open the door and manually spin the drum i can hear the water inside gushing. I have emptied the container at the bottom which is supposed to have water in but need to remove this other water. is my dryer broken or can this be fixed??
