First, iron with brown paper-grocery bag will do. You will be amazed at how often the paper gets "wet". Keep moving brown paper to a new spot over and over. When you are done and the paper stays dry, wash as usual.

Dry cleaning fluids are made to remove wax, glues, etc.
Just let your dry cleaner see the stain. One trip through dry cleaning should do it, and no residue left behind.

Use some brown paper rough side down over the wax area and iron with a warm iron using a fresh portion of paper every couple of seconds, hopefully melted wax will soak on to the paper, that,s why you have to use fresh paper regularly.
